Work happens
Message the pro in-app. Any additional charge — materials, scope changes — requires your explicit in-app approval before it can be billed.
Confirm completion
When the pro marks the job complete, you get an inspection window to look the work over. Confirm when you're satisfied — or, if you do nothing, the job auto-confirms after 72 hours of inactivity, with reminders before that happens.
Money releases, review follows
On confirmation the funds release to the pro. You leave a multi-dimension review — quality, punctuality, communication — that feeds future matching.
If something’s not right
Open a dispute during the inspection window — before the job confirms — and the payment is frozen immediately (nobody is paid). AI reviews the claim against the job spec, photos, messages, and completion evidence, then recommends releasing the payment, a partial refund, or a full refund under the Guarantee.
High-confidence recommendations apply automatically with a 48-hour human-override window; everything else goes straight to a human reviewer. Either way, the money does not move until the dispute is resolved.

When the homeowner confirms completion (or the 72-hour auto-confirm passes), payment is released to your Stripe account minus the 15% platform fee. Track it all in your earnings dashboard.
